After months of speculation, Microsoft is unveiling its “Project Scorpio” games console today, and it's officially named Xbox One X. Microsoft's Xbox One X naming comes to replace the project Scorpio, which in my opinion did not have anything definitive that described the new console. I mean how are rich kids parents to decipher what console to get their snotty kids? The  ONE, THE S, THE X ???

In comparison, the PlayStation PRO actually means something dedicated to 4k Video and HDR.

Regardless all existing Xbox One accessories will work on the new Xbox One X — which is soooooOooo SICK!!! — alongside all existing Xbox Original, 360 and ONE backwards compatible titles. Microsoft is planning to use "super sampling" on the One X to make new games look better even on 1080p TVs. The entire point in all this is the total dedication to 4k @60fps with a water vapor CPU cooler never before seen in a Xbox console. Lastly, it is smaller than Xbox consoles than before an excellent design Xbox.

The new console will ship with 6 teraflops of graphical power, more than its main competitor, the PS4 Pro, with 4.2 teraflops. Microsoft is using a custom GPU engine on Scorpio that runs at 1172MHz, a big increase over the Xbox One’s 853MHz and even Sony’s 911MHz found on the PS4 Pro. Microsoft is also shipping the Xbox One X with an Ultra HD Blu-ray drive for 4K movies and entertainment, and 1TB of storage.
